Children leave Pippins well prepared for "big school".  The local area is well served with excellent primary schools and our children have gone on to Bures, Pebmarsh, Maplestead, St Margaret's (Gosfield), Littlegarth (Nayland), Earls Colne, Holmwood (Colchester), Chappel, St Mary's Stanway, Fordham, to name just a few.

The children have their learning journals to take with them when they leave Pippins as a reminder of their time at Pippins.  This, combined with preparation by the staff on what to expect from school and encouragement to share and express their feelings about moving on, help the children adjust happily.

The children settle quickly into these schools, being received well by the staff who have commented on them being well prepared for the demands of school life, independent with good concentration levels and a genuine love of learning.  They interact well with the other children and respond positively to the staff due to their developed social skills.
